This might have been true 50 or 100 years ago but today the vibrant living corals are vanishing almost everywhere there are people - and sometimes even in very remote areas. The unhappy state of the coral reefs of our planet comes from a variety of causes but there are a very few special locations where you can still see vibrant living coral reefs close to a place where you can holiday.
